A 66-year-old Redding California woman discovers a man breaking into her home, picks up her gun and the phone, then confronts the intruder coming in her window. Donna Hopper shot the intruder three times with a .38 caliber pistol before he ceased being an active threat to her. He died of his wounds and she was soon cleared of any wrongdoing in the home invasion incident
