On May 10th, 2018, Teen Vogue published a piece titled “Who Is Karl Marx: Meet the Anti-Capitalist Scholar” (no link provided – purposefully) penned by Leftist Danielle Corcione. This read is essentially a historical re-write, propagandizing the ideology of Karl Marx that, in actually, resulted in the deaths of tens of millions of people over the course of many decades.
I’m not going to tiptoe around this. Marx was a mass murderer. If you don’t already know the where and the why of all this, then you need to better understand real world history.
Karl Marx said personal possession was a crime. So, why is a corporate-owned magazine clearly based on a for-profit business model interested in peddling this tripe? Has Teen Vogue implemented any of Marx’s ideas into their corporate structure?
Yea, I didn’t think so.
So why is Teen Vogue publishing this?
As an involved parent myself, I can tell you with complete confidence that our education system, such as it is today, is no longer teaching accurate world history. That is because it is dominated by the Left, and their obsession with transitioning the US (and the world) into a Socialist utopia creates a need to re-write world events to motivate our youth to “see it their way”. The Left understands the power in controlling the thoughts of our children. That’s because they know if they control our children’s thinking, they can motivate those kids to act on their best interests. We’re seeing that manifest everywhere today.
It’s an unfortunate reality that as a result of the Left’s infiltration of academia, our youth is now largely economically and historically illiterate. Yes, that’s all been done by design. Today, world history is being treated like a Rubik’s Cube that these collectivist thinkers in academia continually manipulate in various attempts to further our transition into Socialism.
Just like Hitler’s work with the “Nazi Youth”, this is all about youth indoctrination.
It’s not melodrama to assert that many who are paying attention fear for the future of our world, and we are right to have such grave concerns. As a nation, we are raising a thoroughly confused and damaged youth that are now openly embracing Karl Marx, a man whose ideas brought suffering and death to millions. Somehow this must be repaired if we, and our children, are to enjoy a peaceful and prosperous future as free individuals. The alternative is a dark and grim reality that not many care to envision. Hint: Think Orwell’s 1984.
It’s safe to say that it would be of our best interest as parents to either keep our children from reading this vile trash, or to preemptively educate them on who this monster really was and the anguish and death he actually caused those who found themselves under the iron fist of those who tried to implement his asinine ideas. This is poison to our children, not because one small group thinks so, or because I say so. This is poison because it’s been tried many times and it has always resulted in massive regret and rampant death, plain and simple.
A word of warning regarding this form of indoctrination: This isn’t the first and won’t be the last time we see propaganda of this flavor. But understand that what our youth is being sold here is extremely destructive to true freedom and to the future of our world. We need to put a stop to this idolization of evil before it goes any further. Time is running out for all this damage to be undone.
I think I speak for many of us when I assert that we would certainly prefer Teen Vogue to go back to using shallowness and vanity to attempt to destroy our youth. On some level, that seems so much easier to stomach.
To those rallying for the Left today, yammering about gun control, toddlers’ consent before having their diaper changed, and bigger, stronger teachers unions, all while desperately crying out for an alternative to the current system (the one where you actually have the right to complain aloud without being jailed or killed for what you say), know this: You should be very careful who you adore lest you suffer the wrath of their works.
